[dropcap_1]M[/dropcap_1]y name is Andrew Graham, I’m talent agent and media executive living and working in Los Angeles. I was born at the heart of Hollywood’s digital revolution and sit at the crossroads of distribution, content and talent. I’ve spent the last 5 years focusing on identifying and representing many of the world’s most influential digital-native talent, cultivating + monetizing their audiences and partnering with leading advertisers and content companies to create many of the success stories in the burgeoning digital industry.
Today I work as a Digital Talent and Packaging Agent at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), based out of our Los Angeles office, where I focus on creative deal-making and representation of top-flight digital talent. I spend my day packaging content, brokering innovative branded entertainment endorsements for Fortune-500 companies, setting up and creating new owned-and-operated lifestyle business around clients and molding the future of entertainment through the lens of digital. I am also a co-founder of Heard Well, a first-of-a-kind social-driven record label I started in 2015 with my client Connor Franta and music entrepreneur Jeremy Wineberg. Since launching, we have released 8 top-10 Billboard charing albums and are redefining how to break and monetize emerging musicians.
Prior to joining CAA, I worked as a Senior Talent Manager at DreamWorks SKG’s Big Frame. Prior to Big Frame I founded the management division of Fullscreen, Inc., scaling the business to 8 managers and 40 clients before selling to AT&T and Peter Chernin for a quarter of a billon dollars. Prior to Fullscreen I worked with Bogner Entertainment, Inc., a father son executive producing team with an overall deal at FremantleMedia North America, where I created, developed, produced, and saw through to production reality television shows for the cable space.
In no specific order, some things that pique my interest beyond the world of digital include: short fiction, especially the works of George Saunders and Dennis Johnson; cheese; crazy patterned socks and Wener Herzog documentaries.
Please feel free to reach out. I am always interested in meeting with bright and creative people that are as hungry as I am for what’s next.
[h1]A few of the many things that I bring to the table…[/h1]
[toggle title=”Development Management”] While with Bogner Entertainment, Inc. and FremantleMedia I was tasked with bringing in new projects from independent producers, ideating new show formats, taking independent pitches, giving notes on our large slate of sizzle reels & presentation tapes, creating pitch documents, shooting and cutting casting reels, and managing a slew of development interns. Soup-to-nuts, I shepherded from page to proof-of-concept to linar television. My shows have been setup at major production companies such as FremantleMedia North America, Intuitive Entertainment, Target Entertainment USA, Stone & Company Entertainment and Tijuana Entertainment. Series have aired on Oxygen, Animal Planet, TLC and Halogen TV.
[toggle title=”Segment Producing”] During my tenure with Bogner Entertainment Inc. and FremantleMedia I segment produced series for Oxygen and Halogen TV, along with innumerable sizzle reels. I can balance the responsibilities of development as well as production, translating them into a seamless workflow. [/toggle]
[toggle title=”Producing for the web”] At Fullscreen, Inc. I have negotiated dozens of digital production budgets on behalf of brands and producers. Whether it be financing for an independent web series or a branded integration with Verizon, I can confidently navigate the space and put the right people in place to succeed. [/toggle]
[toggle title=”Digital Business Development”] At Fullscreen, Inc. I have been tasked with growing each of our owned-and-operated networks into independent media brands. Whether it’s looking to syndicate content to another portal, plugging our musicians from our music network into an established music brand (Spotify, Pandora, Myspace) or driving conversations around title sponsorships for series, I can aggressively and confidently lead conversations that translate into results. [/toggle]
[toggle title=”Music and Image Licensing”] I have negotiated and licensed both sides of music, master and publishing, off of major companies like Universal Music Group, Warner/Chappell Music and EMI, as well as small indie publishers and labels like Epitaph Records, 3CG Records, Fig Stallion and Boston Scally Punk Publishing. In addition, I have handled image licensing with large sporting institutions (NHL and NBA) and clothing lines like Active and Planet Eclipse. [/toggle]
[toggle title=”Branded Entertainment”] I have been able to bring my creative development background from traditional TV to Fullscreen Inc., developing and pitching numerous Fortunate 500 companies (NBC, FOX, Pepsi, Verizon Wireless) on digital series and video integrations.
